A poem I wrote when I was in High school, Just some of my old work I wanted to share.

Sleepless nights and restless days,

burning light, there she lays.

Slightly pale, shy white;

Never to love, always to hate.

Frozen doves, a little late.

Sleepless nights and restless days,

dim the light, there she lays.

Not to pale, never so white.

Tossing and turning,

nothing to worry.

Lay awake, wide awake.

Sound asleep, never deep.

Sleepless nights and restless days,

No light, there she lays.

Deathly pale, ever so white.

Head held high, eyes set low.

There she lies, no one knows.
