This is a story for a man who know what is to come by the dreams he has night after night.

The nightmares never leave when he lies in bed broken hearted. It is the same dream that he has night after night when it rains and the rains shed over to the shroud of clouds that are in the atmosphere. Corey started to stain his sleep by finding the answers that he can find on the internet when his eyes are never drowsy to the morning that came. All he can think about are the Algergens that are traveling from some point in space from constellations that are only mapped by the few people that study charts in the night sky.

What are the Algergens? Corey did not know when he sees the beast that comes from the ships of white that appear in the skies on one red morning when he can feel the heat in the air and the hairs on his skin sticking up on end. He is standing at the window in his living room when beforehand he cannot look at his face in the mirror. He cannot look at himself when he started to see the eyes that are looking at him out of the corner of his eyes in public. He can see the eyes that are watching him, judging him with their eyes when he cannot think about it. All he can think about are the Algergens that are coming to this world to enslave the humans of mankind, funneling into the population of the human race to control us and become us.

Corey felt like screaming out in public to the people to get ready; they are coming from the skies from some world that is sucked, dead, and dry. Corey stopped taking care of his hygiene as well three months ago when his breath stank and his teeth are yellow that it makes the Yellow Brick Road look like porcelain. His hair is so matted that combing it is not a problem when he gets a call from his mother about his appointments to see the doctor every Tuesday and Thursdays. He did not want to go talk about his problems when he kept on getting those nightmares night after night, knowing that they are true when his mother told others that he is going through a phase. That is all.

That phase though has lasted for more than eighteen years when his dreams are so vivid that he is living through it. He can move and think in his dreams as well when he tried to explain it to his mother when his mother changed the conversation on the second or third sentence of explaining about it. His mother already had two nervous breakdowns when she did not want to hear about this anymore. She wanted to stay in her world when her world is perfect unlike Corey’s world that is filled with speculations that is about eighty to ninety percent true. He talked about when Morgan Donaldson took that sugar goblet piece from old Ms.Varzy and he dreamed how he placed it in his groin area in his pants while he was there for a courtesy call. Corey talked about the man that is going around and letting fires up and knew his name when mother did not want to hear of this when she was at the dinner table, eating her food faster to get away from him.

The name is the truth when he finally got caught with two water bottle of kerosene in his pocket and a dumb look on his face with the explanation of a guy who is trying to figure out a complex algebraic formula. He was locked away on those charges when Corey knew he was right and mother did not want to hear about it when she looked at him out the corner of his eyes, knowing that she is afraid of her son when she asked if he is going to see someone about the dreams that he has been having. Corey dejected the suggestion but finally cave into the suggestion when he lied to the psychiatrist from time to time about his dreams for reasons of what is the point. She cannot cure him when Corey only lied and smiled like a man who is not holding a secret at all. He came home, slid down against the wall and tried for almost five minutes when he dared not to go to sleep.

His mind finally did its deed when he dreamed the nightmares that came to be. The dreams of the Algergens are more powerful than any dreams he had witnessed over his life when he looked at the skies from time to time and kept the television off. The skies on the days are cloudy and the skies on the days are sunny when he waited for the sun of red to come one morning which he kept looking at the eastern light. How long will it happen is the pain that he had been feeling for more than nine months when the madness is driving him to the point that he is about to jump off the fringe. He contemplated suicide when he remembered his childhood friend that died when he walked into the front of an oncoming semi. What was left of him is something that Corey did not want to think about when he watched television, seeing nothing out of the ordinary when he started to believe that it is a fluke, nothing more.

He wanted life to go on when he started to find hobbies to keep his mind occupied besides work when he kept dreaming about the Algergens before he dreamed about other matters that are prolonged to be true in time. He kept his problematic gift to himself when he used some of that power to find a child who was abducted from Gibley Street when that child wound up in the hands of some woman who is so grieved with the death of her own son that she is not convinced that he is dead. He did it with no provocation of being caught when he came in the middle of the night to take the child away from that home, wearing a mask and glasses so he cannot be identified by the child that is so confused that he does not remember what day it is.

Corey felt content when he knew he was going to get away from it as he did not dream about the Algergens that will probably come from the skies and wish the world a happy enslavement day. He slept and dreamed of bitter dreams when the world moved on and another year came into the fold. Corey dreamed of the Algergens less and less when he started to look at himself in the mirror, seeing more color in eyes and a smile that is genuine to make the world a better place. His gift sometimes gets the better of him when he knew the truths of this happening and that happening that is going around town. Corey slept better when he thought about dating again when he has not dated in over six years. The Algergens are playing around in the back of his head when the sun shone and the rains fell upon the land as Corey felt better as one morning the red flames of morning came and the world is graced with the happiness of people’s lives that lived in unison. The red morning is what the sailors say that there is a storm coming when they recited the old adage term that is coined, “A red morning is where sailor takes warning.” That is true when Corey almost forgot the many of dreams that he had on those long, sleepless nights when the red morning is quiet with no birds chirping on the trees and the winds started to blow from the north.

Corey woke up and felt good when the skies parted and something came from the clouds that are not identified on any radar service that is at the nearby Air Force Base in Grissom. The radar did not pick it up when it came like the ships that crossed the seas in search for new horizons. It came like the veils of new banners that are not from this world when Corey on the afterthought knew that he is correct when he is now in the brig of one of these ships, waiting to be served on a silver platter when one of them came in and looked human. The one Algergen looked at him from the tips of his feet to the top of his head when he told him soon, soon the pain will be no more for you. The Algergen left when Corey looked into the musty darkness of the corner of the cell and started to make water in his pants.

He knew it is true when his sanity broke and he started to laugh in his cell that echoed out into the unknown spaces of the ship as he slept the last of sleep and dreamed no more.
