I’m quite content with what I have, I’m rich in the most important aspects of life...

Diamonds Pearls and Fancy Furs

Who needs them?

Do I consider myself fortunate?

I’d have to say yes I am,

I am the owner of a big heart a precious dog wonderful family and friends.

I don’t need a fancy home one of kind clothes

Or shoes to match every purse,

I don’t need long evening gowns or expensive foreign furs.

I’m quite content with what I have

I’m rich in the most important aspects of life,

I have family dog friends God food warmth and a pillow to lay my head on at night.

What would a big fancy home get me? Other than extra bills and added stress,

And all of those fancy things I don’t need would just add clutter and extra mess.

Diamonds and pearls-yea they’re nice but who needs them?

My jewels fit me just fine,

I have a diamond that’s priceless

It’s almost 19 years old and it still shines.

My family and friends mean everything to me

They’re my precious jewels in this world,

And my dog Buddy-well he’s my precious treasured jewelled angel

These are the kind of possessions that make me a lucky girl.

God dog family friends’ food shelter warmth love and health

What more could a person ever need

My life is full of many treasures

More than you’ll find in any sea.
