Stand over there
or wait in that chair.
Wait for your turn,
We understand your concern.
Just wait in a line
Sign in and be fine.

Take a number.
Yes, it’s a bummer.
Don’t get in a flurry
of angst as we hurry
To service your needs
and help you succeed.

Soon you’ll be on your way,
To the rest of your day.
In a short bit of time
You will find that you climb
To the front of the que,
We are working for you.

Here’s a tune while you hold,
As you slowly grow old,
Check your phone, send a text,
Perhaps you’ll be next.
The light might turn green,
Then step up and be seen,
We’ll give you our best,
May you leave feeling blessed.

Just wait and see,
What a line there will be
When souls rise to the skies
Each to confess every sin,
Before family and friends,
Before the throne of Our Lord,
We’ll feel bored nevermore.
Keep on waiting.

Hurry up and wait was so riveting, that I am just going to have to wait until I make my comments
