A recap of last night's Winnipeg/Toronto game.

Toronto Maple Leaf's Auston Matthews scored the winner in overtime last night as his team defeated the Winnipeg Jets 4-3, ending a three-game losing streak.

The game itself was a toss up as both teams battled competively.

"I didn't dislike much of our game," said Leaf's head coach, Sheldon Keefe at the postgame press conference.

The Jet's opened the scoring in the first period with a goal by Nikolaj Ehlers at 16:19.

Mitch Marner tied the game at 3:14 of the second period.

Ehlers put Winnipeg ahead again at 10:50.

At 6:29 of the third period, William Nylander tied the game.

Ilya Mikheyev put the Leafs ahead for first time in the game at 12:39.

Paul Stastny tied the game at 17:34.

Just 59 seconds into overtime, Matthews scored.

Toronto's Morgan Rielly had two assists.

Ehlers had a three point night.

Jet's goalie, Connor Hellebuyck stopped 34 shots last night.

Toronto wraps up their three game series with the Jets tomorrow night.
