Poetry.

Goodbye, and that's it?
You took 16 years
of friendship out the door
with you, abusive bitch.
And left everything else.
Fuck you.
I should have meant more to you.
It blows my mind
the amount of selfish
one person can be.
How I can drop
everything
to check on you,
but you toss me to the side
like a stone in your shoe.
You didn't deserve me.

Tell me, how is life
on Mount Everest?
So out of touch with reality
and so far from the rest.
Is this why the real world
has yet to meet you?
All the books in the world
won't take away the personality
of a judgemental shrew.
Guess I dodged a bullet...
But one day you'll wake up
and smell the coffee you've brewed.
I set boundaries and you left;
now I can only wish you the best.
Your words have no merit.
Hurt people hurt people --
trust me, I get it.
I've lived it.
And now when I see it,
I kick it
to the curb
because it's absurd.
I know my worth
and you should too.
'Cause I'll be damned if you ever
treat me like that again, boo.
Your childhood abuse
makes sense of your lies,
but it does not mean
I have to abide.
Goodbye.

Full of emotion. That's the problem with caring for anyone - they always seem to have a tendency for backstabbing.
