Two sentence horror stories I came up with (and didn't look to see if they were original). Enjoy.

I heard my wife scream for help in the distance.

I dropped her body immediately.

I don't have the best life.

So I talk to my friends in the closet to pass the time.

They say the pen is mightier than the sword.

I disagree; it’s not as easy to stab with a ballpoint.

My son doesn’t have any friends.

He’ll have no one to miss him.

Smiling isn’t always easy.

But to never frown again, I’ll just need a few “tools.”

I heard laughter scatter through the trees.

I stood over the body, knowing it was my own.

She had such nice skin.

But she took mine instead.

My daughter screamed for help from her room.

I walked in, her coffin wide open and empty.

It looked at me with insanity in its eyes.

I dropped my mirror on the ground.

“It’s almost time,” he said.

I looked Death in his hollow eyes, wondering why it was taking so long.

No one escapes me.

But I couldn’t escape her.

“Your special delivery has arrived.”

I wondered when I ever ordered something.

I admired my carving skills.

Then the pumpkin moved.

She wished she was thinner.

Soon all you could see was her skeleton.

I saw the corpses in his basement smile blankly.

I smiled back
