A tongue in cheek tale in rhyme.

The Knights of Trimmer Castle were relentless

They fought for the King and beloved Crown

With Sword and Axe they drove their foe from victory

Yet none of them knew a verb from noun.

Of Past and Present Participles they were clueless

When a head was axed or a body was run through.

Exclamations were sometimes heard when severing arms

And they were loud and flamboyant, that is true.

Ah, the King's Court gathered 'round the Knights

And they praised them for their bravery and valor.

Many learn-ed tales expounded from every noble

And rewards were given Knights in that hour.

It doesn't take linguist to fight a battle

But it does if you want to write a book

About the battle and the Knights of Trimmer Castle;

Leather bound, might be the proper look.
