Rain

It can be a healing force in nature

The waters slowing pooling in a lush of green

As life utilizes the brilliant liquid gem sent from the heavens

Within that brilliance, though, there lies darkness

Where the light cannot penetrate or reflect

A part of the gem that eats all light and is only shadow

Rain may thunder hard across the earth

Sweeping away that which need it to survive

A mass grave remembered only by the refracting of light

Yes, the rain can give life’s essence to the earth

But also take it away with a current of rage

Surviving is quite simple for one must check the weather
