Bottled insanity preaches in my father’s form,

Wicked and fiendish within the night of the storm,

Tossing and turning as dreams become deep nightmares,

Within the night of the storm, teeth of the wolf bares,

Please father hear my aching song,

For you have been gone for far too long,

Please surrender a kiss upon me,

As I drift into a slumbered sea.

Incredible use of words Reaper. I feel myself fumbling around in flashing darkness as a storm happens outside, and you nail the realism. I am fond of storms, as I've made a haiku on storms called "The Storm". Great work and hope to see more. - E.E
