Reaching

I can stand up on my tiptoes,

twist and contort;

climb up on a chair,

stretch up from a tabletop;

I can climb up a ladder,

stand up on a roof,

but self-confidence

always remains out of my reach.

I know the feeling. Great poem Hullabaloo22. My little cat has enough confidence for both of us and thinks she can stalk and catch an Australian magpie. She'll lose an eye one day if isn't careful.

Magpies can be a problem for small cats, that's for sure. When they were kittens, the mother killed one that went after them.
Thanks for reading, Craig. Much appreciated.
