a p o e m f o r u s

Come up with a musical story,

dealing with the monotony of life,

shining with my sad glory,

fading away as a love of a wife.

Bouncing back betweent two chords,

singing a whistle of melancholoy,

to win from life a few rewards,

only to feel sprinkled like a lemon poppy.

Bang you head against the ceiling,

arise, clear and light with me,

you won't feel a a thing, I promise, not a feeling,

lime ice cream and cinnamon gum is the reward at the end, for free.

It's not that I don't know you, I guess,

it's just that I've seen you come and go,

so please don't put me to rest,

I don't want to be alone.
