You
I’m still here
In the crowded street
I held my breath
Smoke filled the night sky
Ash flickered in air
From my fingers
To the tip of the cigarette
I watch myself drown
In the thoughts of you
Wine, soju, and brandy
Take me back to you and me
For I’m still here
Reasons still unclear
The night was alive
Ours wasn’t
You were there on my worst
And on yours, you called for me
But I wasn’t the first
In the crowded street I was alone
The night whispered its secrets
A question I never want to answer
Do you still think of me?

Wonderful imagery. I can almost imagine the MC leaning against a lamp post and looking at their reflection in a shop window, the glow of their cigarette the only other light source along the alley. The way almost every line is just a fragment of a complete sentence reflects how thoughts flow in real life. Love this!
