The monk climbed a mountain
At the peak, kneeling on the ground, he shouted at the top of his lungs
Oh dear god, I have been praying for a very long time
No wife, no money, or any form of life
I ask you why, I am not achieving the enlightening height
Up in the sky, right behind the clouds
He heard a very mesmerizing sound
Yes, you are, praying for a very long time!
You are good, you are fine, and quite even right
But, child, have you ever sought the evil in your pure heart?
Me! Evil! How can I be aware of such particular thoughts?
Have you ever wished someone to attain a magnificent shot?
Or, simply getting away from an unfortunate lot?
Of course! After all, I am a very kind-hearted monk
Then it’s easy, just, look inwards when the wishing comes
Deep down, you will find, the darkness that resides
Good and evil run, hand in hand and side by side
Then, what should I do next, after walking into the dark?
Face your demons, and accept them as you are
then you will reach the enlightening height
