Ah, thoughts of Spring and possibilities awaiting, or Not.

Oh my gosh! Is this Spring?

I believe I heard a robin sing

Or a Nightingale in the moonlight, pale,

with scattered rainclouds; how smooth they sail.

He's packed to leave, Old Jack Frost

His frigid nature defies the cost

of hanging around like an unwanted sound

Like a guest in your bath that you just soon drowned.

But enough about winter sorrows

It's time to plant my flowering furrows

Of blooms of color for the warmer weather

And garden goodies for healthy tomorrows.

What's that out there? It's a mole I see!

And several Rabbits, a family.

They are coming this way, to eat I'd say,

Perhaps I'll plant me a tree.

Apple trees are good!

Is that a Bear?

Well maybe I'll plant an Oak tree

right out there.

Here comes the squirrels,

tails in curls.

I have to admit that indoor plants

take less care.
