Daffodil poem

Pretty daffodils, how lovely you smile, yellowy silk petals, open wide delight.

Your proud olive stalks, straight, tall and true, your flower heads bow, to sunny skies of blue.

On lawn, in woods or roadside, you charm our warming hearts, Spring is not here, no not without you.

Oh pretty dafs, you make us laugh, golden faces, being there, we thank you.
