Just a little something.

True Colours
You showed me the rainbow and glitters I longed for
You weaved your words into my wretched mind and cruel soul

You poured your miserable emotions as I came to you with such peace
Now you're the reason why I can't sleep

I bestowed my best upon you as I saw you worthy and vulnerable
However, the tiny but meaningful promises slowly but surely turned into mesmerizing lies

Lies I still wish till this day that you would have lived up to
Is it too much to ask for? Perhaps since you "gave up awhile ago"

I reminisce about your three worded lies
My mind filled to the brim with ifs and whys

Was she really better than me? Did she care for you like I did?
Or did you use her like you used me?

Nevertheless, I am not the villain
Your colours blossomed in the most unfortunate way.
