People with knowledge of the matter,

On conditions of anonymity,

Discuss sensitive details.

Generally speaking of specifics.

It is unclear,

It might hold the key.

Line by line breakdown,

Breakdown, breakdown, breakdown

Physical and emotional injuries,

Terrible and unique.

Whatever comes to hand,

First but not necessarily the last.

Of an argument no longer working,

Little more can be said.

Resuscitation is futile when,

Your conspiracy was DOA anyway.

In your elusive way, you put your fingers on something real here.

It's funny how these kinds of poems are becoming my favorites. I'm reading Murakami, rewatching that Burning movie I told you about (Murakami and Faulkner were inspirations), and listening to Joe Frank's old radio programs. I like that vague sense of something on the edge, not quite definable, possibly threatening, an established entity that ostensibly provides sustenance but still feels off somehow.
