Why was I so screwed in the head?

I have to admit to a strange sensation,

I was wrong; and this is my 'wrong' narration

I used to not like to watch stand-up comedy,

I used to feel that way, go ahead, roll your eyes at me

Thanks to the internet I've accessed many a clip,

There 'ain't no way to keep a stiff lower lip

When it's hyenaing right there on your face

As the comedian skewers and lambastes

True, there are some good, middle to bad,

But when they're good, a better time can't be had!

What was I thinking? I don't have a clue or excuse,

All I can say is I must have had a lot of screws loose!
