Just wondering --- I think.

If sanity becomes madness on the other side of reality

Might the question be. Is there reality at all?

And if the logic of thinkers is bound by their hope

Then madness and sanity are subject to call.

It was Freud that once said,

In a moment of clarity,

"Thinking is an experimental dealing

with a small amount of energy."

But if energy fuels madness and sanity is lost

Then where is the power that is presumed to be saved?

Redirecting some power in the midst of my madness

Should free my mind that was somehow enslaved?

I could be the cunning sort of crazy.

Down right sly, you see?

I'll say, "I'm insane!"

Then they'll say, "You can't be."

So that brings me to a place of lasting confusion

For my mental stability has come to a crawl.

If sanity became madness on the other side of reality

Then it might just be, there is no reality at all.
