There’s a couple breaking up in the next room. well,
the girl is crying, the guy too, I think,
it sounds horrible, I think.
I’m shoving Taco Bell soft tacos into my face,
while these two are living their dramatic romcom breakup.
The guy says some cliche shit like “babe, if you leave, I’ll follow you”
trying to be romantic probably, but failing epically,
causing her to cry even more,
and causing me to try as hard as I can not to laugh.
I think that’s what I’ll say,
if Taco Bell ever tries to shut down,
and move to a different part of town,
and let us all down,
Babe, Taco Bell, we’re gonna follow you around!
I’m trying not to eavesdrop,
as they reconcile, then bicker, then reconcile again,
I wish them the best, though I can barely comprehend,
the words they’re saying, but I wish peace to them,
an amen to all the amends,
again and again,
Cause tacos fall apart too sometimes, and we still love them.
But holy shit, can they not be so fucking loud
at 12:59 AM?

This is an awesome piece of work that I'm now obsessed with. The humor and comparison is just still but hilarious. I've never tried humor writing, but you've inspired me CJ. Great work man. - E.E
