Poetry.

Dear Devil, please,
make it so no one
can hear these screams out of me;
I'm feeling so
alone, it's getting
too hard to breathe.
Maybe one day soon,
perhaps, you
might let me in, see...
You were graceful once
and then
you turned just like me;
my wings were once
thick and full,
now they're at my feet;
crumbled in a
pile of ash --
shall soon bury me...
I beg of you to
know I'm worth
more than they say; please!
I've nowhere to
turn to when
they jeer at me;
I just don't want to be,
I just don't want to be
here;
please.
