(283) The American Secret Society
There used to be a deist fine line
Whence fold saints and sinners define.
These days the conservative ones –
Illuminati, Freemasons,
OTO… those quiet, driven to work
With mixed freewill and high theater
Quirks on glamour and pageantry
To seduce prospective members:
‘Your station in life will advance!’
If merely implies – connection!
When you put on a mask, moral
Seems to stand obsolete in roles.
Relevant yet superficial.
Accurate more than rational.
What’s the harm in joining a group?
A political machine dupes
To network powerful people
Who can pull strings in secrecy,
And influence decisions’ chess?
Read knowledge breeds power invest!
