Things started out good for the Toronto Maple Leafs last night, but then the wheels fell off as the team lost to the Winnipeg Jets 5-2.
Alex Galchenyuk scored at 3:41 of the first period to put the Leafs ahead 1-0.
Then, all of a sudden, Winnipeg scored three unanswered goals.
Nikolaj Ehlers scored at 10:45, Kyle Connor scored at 11:12, and Mark Scheifele scored at 13:54.

John Tavares made it a 3-2 game at 6:47 of the second period.
Ehlers scored again at 5:34 of the third period.
Connor scored an empty netter at 19:23.
Both Connor and Scheifele had three points.
Winnipeg's goalie, stopped 31 shots.
Tavares had two points.
