Sample #1:

A scaly, toothy, slippery, slimy monster called a Slither Wolf soon came into view, its nasty claws scraping up from the crack in the earth, digging into the ground and just barely missing several people who were standing too close. 

Sample #2:

On the day that Mega Bite came back missing all her teeth, the monsters decided they’d had enough.  It was an outrage. 

Mega Bite was everyone’s favorite monster.  She was nice to everyone.She baked cookies for all her neighbors, and she was always happy to babysit.  Nobody messed with Mega Bite. Cam Kablam was going to have to pay. 

Sample #3:

Mega Bite and Cam were spitting so much that drool was oozing from their mouths.  A puddle was forming ion the ground.  For the next five minutes they didn’t do anything but try to out-spit each other. 

“Hey, wait a minute!” Cam screamed suddenly.  “Stop distracting me!  You’re supposed to be telling me where everybody is, not starting a spitting contest.” 

Mega Bite was delighted that she had upset Cam.  She laughed so hard that her butt squeaked. 

“Oh, come on,” Cam shrieked, holding her nose.  “Now you’re farting?  You are seriously the grossest thing ever.” 

“Get over it,” Mega Bite chuckled.  “Everybody farts.”

“We should call you Mega Butt.”

“Fine.  Then you can be Cam Kabutt.”

“Knock it off, you two,” Gram ordered.
