My painting " New Jerusalem " and my scripture on the desolation of modern society.

And it came to pass, that the eve of destruction was upon man. For their greed and suplication of want, gave them no comfort in that day. Their home, from which
They had robbed the lifeblood and riches from was dying, their world poisoned by mammons lust. The water of life, poluted.
Their material possesions now rattled and broken as the Earth rumbled. The veins of fire now spewed forth and devoured their precious things, which had no soul or need of care. The Heavens opened and pelted hail and wind, as vortices of unimaginable destruction laid waste to their supposed owned lands, whose deeds were death pledges, not shelters or sanctuaries. And the crops failed, as the plague took the workers of the field, who were there one day, and gone the next.  And the poor and destitute were joined by those whose previous wants were few, and they were sorely vexed. For in that moment they realized their brethren were few, pushed aside in lieu of chasing riches and useless possession.  And the Publicans and shopkeepers and all that served the False prophets prayed in vain for salvation,  yet none came. For their churches greed had set them apart, and laid waste to those whom were intrusted of their care. And many were without opportunities,  homes, and jobs.
People from afar off wondered and marveled at the various destructions and many ignored the suffering, as they were not yet affected. The very elect wrung their hands,  and offered only empty thoughts and prayers for their suffering
Many in that day, who had read the signs of things to come, tried to  warn those whose frivolous disregard of life was apparent.
And they were shunned, and mocked, and told they were being ignorant.
And many lives deemed less important were taken by the gun, by those intrusted with their safety.  And everything right, had become wrong.  And the sages and cheifs were trampled by those who saw the world  as a storehouse for themselves, and they took the resources,  and left many without.
And the Almighty Father saw the disregard for human life, and the destruction of his world for Mammons sake, and his wrath was unleashed upon man, as the Earth rocked and trembled,
And darkness fell upon the face of the Earth, and there was weeping, and gnashing of teeth.

I see a bad moon rising
I see trouble on the way
I see earthquakes and lightning
I see bad times today
