With Hullabaloo22:

Ringo The Cat

Ringo the Cat tries on a hat

“Cause he’s a cartoon, that

Ringo is artist controlled,

He simply does what he’s told

By the artists’ pencil or pen

Now he’s tap-dancing again

Doesn’t like it, wants it to stop,

“Get me off this bike I’m atop!”

He’s trapped in the artists’ head,

To his whims he’s inexorably wed!

The pencil flips and swirls away,

and Ringo, well, he’s on his way,

performing cartwheels, backward flips

reaching high, then down he dips.

This poor cat’s been so contorted

there’s just one thing to get him sorted;

the artist draws up a cat bed

and Ringo sighs and rests his head.

I love this! I could picture every action explicitly in my head. Fun to read. Great job you two.
