William Nylander opened the scoring for the Leafs at 3:45 of the first period.
Auston Matthews put the Leaf's ahead 2-0 at 14:57 of the second period.
Bo Horvat made it a 2-1 game at 16:23.

Nile Hoglander tied the game at 12:03 of the third period.
Just 1:19 into overtime, Horvat scored.
Horvat finished the night with three points.
Vancouver's goalie, Braden Holtby stopped 37 shots.
Toronto's Captain, John Tavares, had two assists last night.
Toronto plays the Canucks again tomorrow night.
