It started with a story

Of adventure so grand

It started with a reader

With some time on their hand

A nice comment,

A nice smile

Happy a moment,

The thread continues past a mile

Friendships grew,

And with it, trust, too

Daily lives spoken of,

Contacts traded,

Friendship pretty as a foxglove

One grew down

And one made their way across writing town

Replies became rarities

Depression became clarity

The reader patiently awaits their writing friend

Before, they fear, they come to an end

Friendly Advice

Sounds like what some go through on the net. A bit unfair to the one effected. I feel people who were brought up with the internet around them, find it easy to feel a connection by the ease of contacting each other is. A connection is often confused with such simplicity. Simple text messsging can never capture ones true feeling. I guess by the way I over explain, has its own way of making the effort of expression more real than just a few well layed out letter combinations. Take it or leave it, count words not letters... If you have any question about how the other may truely feel. This goes by by old rule of thumb. Which made a book worm friend shake their head. I judge the price of a book by the lack of spaces and how many pages. Even though I dont read, I know good Stephen King book when I see it. Mwhahahahahahaha!

Many apologies, but English is my fourth language, so I don't quite understand what you're saying? If you're up to it, of course, could you message me about what you mean ?

I have to say that this is almost perfect. So many things influence both writer's and readers... the connection can turn out to be quite fragile.
