Can't judge a book by its cover!

Danny Highcourt was happy and free to go,

Asked if they could prove it, the cops said no

So the harried captain ordered him released

Another close escape, but he was free at least

To return to his 2-bedroom trailer on Grove,

With his pet monkey and a wood-burning stove

He put on some coffee and some music to hear,

Stripped off his coated troubles and opened a beer

And he transformed into juggling Danny The Great,

A juggling dude and for that day, he couldn’t wait!

For that was truly who Mugger Danny longed to be,

Away from the high stress of an empty crime spree

He longed for applause instead angry, startled shouts

That he’d be free much longer, Danny had his doubts

He tossed one red ball into the air one-handed,

Then two more, as the ball-juggling demanded

After fifteen minutes of ball-juggling without a drop,

A reluctant-to-do-so Danny decided to stop

Back to reality, he grabbed his gun and ski mask

And headed out to force people to do what he asked,

For mad-man juggling like an expert didn’t pay the bills

He had to be a dickhead, saving juggling for his thrills!
