My love planted me an apricot tree and it grew and grew.
His goodness was kind to me and he just ‘knew’.

My love planted me a peach tree and it matured beside the wishing well.
It’s patience was so kind I thrived under it’s spell.

My love planted me a nectarine tree.
There is nothing that my love wouldn’t do for me.

I’m sure I’ve worn out my welcome with most,
But one thing’s for sure, my man is the topmost!
