Deathcroak hunts down his first mutants in this story, therefore letting him act out on his sick fantasies.

Chapter One:

I look at the tracks on the ground and I instantly know I’m near. The large raccoon tracks are everywhere, this mutant is close. Although I have never killed another mutant before, I am ready to face this one.

I find a large empty garbage can, which is unusual for the middle of the woods but it means I’m super close to his hideout. I see a trail of trash and I follow it, passing more and more empty garbage cans.

I find a large hole and I hear the rustling of leaves up ahead. While pulling out one of my pistols, I slowly walk towards the sound. I see a tail poking out from behind a tree and I fire four shots. The mutant runs off and I follow in pursuit.

“Come back here!” I yell at the raccoon, still chasing it. He looks back and ends up running into a tree branch. Not reacting in time I pass him and trip over a root and roll down a hill. I quickly get myself back up and run back up the hill.

I look around and he’s nowhere to be seen, I groan and start following the fresh tracks. The trail of tracks then splits into two. There’s more than one mutant here and he’s warned them about me.

I look at the second trail and follow it. I walk for about a minute until the tracks meet again and head towards the hole. Really? That was their plan? Well, this was super easy, and I’m gonna get rewarded with two kills!

Chapter Two:

I pull out my homemade pipe bomb and turn on the timer. I hear the beep of it triggering and I throw it down the hole. I run as quickly as possible away from it and the explosion makes my ears ring.

I walk back to the hole and although dust fills the air, I still enter it to confirm the kills. I walk in and turn on my flashlight I brought with me and I do a quick survey. I see nothing as I light up the makeshift room.

I turn to the exit when all of a sudden the raccoon comes charging in. I shoot him five times and he flops to the floor dead. Stepping over his dead body, I exit the hole and I try to figure out where his friend is.

I turn to the right and follow a strange smell and I see a mutant opossum lying on the ground. I chuckle knowing that he’s not dead and I walk up to him and kick him in the back.

He screeches and tries to run off so I shoot him in the foot. He falls to the ground and starts to crawl away. I approach him and he tries to speak but nothing comes out except for gibberish. I watch his foot gush blood all over the leaves and twigs.

Chapter Three:

I pick up a large rock and I start walking towards the crawling opossum. I bend over him and start bashing in his head. He shrieks for a split second then stops after the rock breaks his skull causing blood and bits of brain to splatter over my face.

After creating a big enough hole, I reach my hand inside of his skull and start pulling out his brain, chunk by chunk. Easily pulling it out, all of the chunks of brains are gone and I start scalping him.

Once I fully scalp him, I start cutting off his face, making it easier for me to get his skull. I grab the rock again and start smashing his throat so I can sever his head. It only took me 3 times of bashing it in to be able to snap his neck and start cutting his head off.

I place his skull and face in my bag and start walking towards the raccoon. I walk down the hole entrance and I grab him by the legs. Once he’s up to the surface I start the process again and place his head and face in my bag.

Satisfied with my trophies, I walk off and make my way out of the forest. It’s time to hunt down the next mutant. He’s a pelican mutant so it might be a harder fight but good thing I have my guns.
