People can use you to get what they want and where they want to go, but we can leave them behind and move on.

Bad Roads

I was the road you stepped on

So you could reach your goal.

All the way you lead me on.

I should have charged a toll.

You thought I was a back road

Where you could break all laws,

And say my way no one rode

So I'd accept your flaws.

But maps that I found showed me

Where my journey went wrong

That you were no good for me.

It's time to say, “so long.”
