Desire - Born of the fall

Born of the fall
Grown from the flesh

Light family beckons
He broods in darkness
A god reduced
Taking life to keep his

Others chase needs
Swinging between joy and despair
The height of joy drives
The depth of despair

This they accept
As he accepts not
Yearns he to be among his peers
Knowing all, asking not

Basking at the maximum
Infinite, light emitting
Never diminished, spent or desiring
Beyond inclusive—self  transcended

Until that moment of collapse when time ends,
Intelligence and order fall back again
Pre-worm, pre-life

Waiting a near eternity
Again, for that spark
Which carrieth back to the light
Up from the darkness, Again
