i used to think sadness was blue

a blue where the more you looked the more it grew

tears and emotions filling the endless trenches of the ocean

hopelessness and doubt making sure the feeling doesn’t run out

but i opened my mind to see what my eyes failed to hear

i now see the answer and its coming near

the color of sadness was blue but now i see that it’s clear

for sadness reminds me that the presence of love was here

a world without loss is a world without gain

sometimes you need to be empty to have room to be full again

The Mind Breaker

I liked it. I feel the exact same way accept it's everyday and I have no outlet and no shoulder to cry on.

Very cool, content and conclusions the poem arrives at really subverted the expectations I had for it based on the title.
