A recap of last night's Toronto/Montreal game.

The Toronto Maple Leafs clinched a playoff spot last night, defeating the Montreal Canadiens 4-1.

"We feel like a playoff team for quite a long time," said Leaf's head coach, Sheldon Keefe, at last night's postgame press conference.

Keefe, however, said that his team still had to accomplish it,(clinching a playoff spot).

William Nylander put Toronto ahead 1-0 1:38 into the game.

Toronto went ahead 2-0 when Auston Matthews scored at 8:44 of the first period.

Jake Muzzin made it 3-0 Toronto at 6:27 of the second period.

Nick Suzuki scored Montreal's lone goal at 15:15.

Adam Brook scored at 8;15 of the third period.

Toronto's goalie, Jack Campbell stopped 32 shots last night.

Toronto hosts Vancouver tonight,
