A recap of last night's Atlanta/Toronto Game One.

The Toronto Blue Jays defeated the Atlanta Braves last night 13-5 in a real slugfest in Dunedin, Florida.

The balls were just flying out of the park last night.

Jay's manager, Charlie Montoyo was quite pleased with his team's performance last night.

Bo Bichette kicked off the route with a two run homer in the bottom of the third inning.

The Jays went up 4-0 when Alejandro Kirk hit a two run homer.

Alejandro Kirk had four RBIs last night.

Up 5-0, Kirk hit another two run homer in the bottom of the fifth inning.

In the bottom of the sixth inning, the Jays went ahead 10-0 when Teoscar Hernandez hit a three run homer.

The Braves finally got on the scoreboard at the top of the seventh inning when Ozzie Albies hit a two run homer.

In the bottom of the seventh, the Jays scored two more runs.

First, Santiago Espinal scored on a wild pitch.

Then, Vladmir Guerrero Jr. drove in Kirk with a single.

At the top of the eighth inning, Freddie Freeman drove in Ronald Acuna with a single.

Later in the inning, Marcell Ozuna hit a two run single.

In the bottom of the eighth, Lourdes Gurriel Jr. hit a solo home run.

Kirk went two for four at the plate and had four RBIs.

Jay's starting pitcher, Robbie Ray went 6.2 innings, allowing five hits, two earned, no walks, and struck out five batters.

"He, (Ray), was outstanding," said Montoyo at last night's postgame press conference.

Ozuna went two for four at the plate and had two RBIs.

Brave's pitcher, Drew Smyly went four inngs, allowing seven hits, five earned runs, four walks, and struck out three batters.

Game Two is tonight.
