SPRING

Spring – Week 6

A group of animals have taken up residence in my plains now.  A large family of rabbits playing and sunbathing the day away and it brings me a small glimpse of joy every day.  I have also started walking around a nearby field whenever the mood hits me and am finally able to begin to enjoy the slow start of nature.  I honestly do not know why the opportunity never struck me before.

It is quite refreshing to fully embrace nature, especially as it is just starting to bloom.  Allows me to take the time and recenter myself, I highly recommend a daily dose of fresh air to everyone!  Outside of that, it is important to remain balanced and I have certainly kept up my daily routine as best as I can.

I finally finished The da Vinci Code and stumbled upon another ancient story titled Blood Noir by one Laurell K. Hamilton as well as a collection of short stories by them titled Strange Candy.  I have only read a few of the short stories, and enjoy them so far.  I finished the actual story though, and it is one of my favorites.  I think the intrigue is drawn from the aspects of vampires, necromancy, and especially were-animals.  The idea of a human being changing into an animal is mind-boggling.

I only wish it was more permanent instead of temporary…I will write soon.
