A Year Of A Tree

Branches wave in

warmer breezes.

Leaves begin to bud.

Under the now strengthened sun,

those leaves offer shelter

for everyone.

Cloudy, stormy, autumn skies,

leaves past their best, begin to dry

before they slowly drift and fall.

Stripped bare,

the branches stand in defiance of elements,

waiting for the coming of spring.
