Not a frequent endeavor of mine, but occasionally I've produced a naughty poem from time to time. Hopefully, the reader will find sufficient humor to make the view worthwhile and, with luck, few will be offended at this light-hearted effort.

Whatever Shall We Say to Nell?

..........or  A Ba-aad Tale

He died a'raping monkeys

............there in the coconut tree.

He'd no doubt forgotten his several wits,

...............and also gravity.

He shouldn't have gone and eaten first

............all the marbled nut, how sad;

for avarice is such bad taste

............and made the monkeys mad.

Rather unforesightful, now it's plain,

............though hindsight's clear to view.

And now, BOOM!

............He's fallen from his pew!

Such clutter there in the red, red grass,

............and yo!  here come the ants.

He's really such a crumpled boor.

............Oh do pull up his pants.

Whatever shall we say to Nell?

............That off he wandered in his sleep?

I hardly think she'll understand;

............she's not a very liberal sheep.
