This popped into my head... After writing it, i noticed it is inspired by a once a decade band called Museum. Artistic artists that got together and made a few CDs. They sound like a mix between David Bowie and Tool, which seems to be another band that sort of falls into the same standards Artists and decade wait times. Ha! Unfortuantely Museum is rare and obsure to find anywhere. So you will have to take my word about the their music.

Time has passed on
While I have moved on

Brief as it seems
A memory never leaves

Not living in the past
Yet, the past will always last

As long as you remain a memory

Not being here, nor over there
Yet, I see you everywhere

Objects keep reminding me
I close my eyes...  Viewing all there is to see

Nothing seems, what it seems
Wondering...  If it is all just a dream

As long as you remain a memory

The voice I hear, in distant echos
From the their song, a story told

A broken spine's damaged remnents
Torn by time, missing many fragments

A life complete, frozen on pages
Ever lasting, just withered by the ages

As long as you remain...  A memory
