Boketto - (v.) the act of gazing into the distance vacantly without thinking.

A mellow Departure, you and I,

into a navy blue ascent, one of us,

Glittering lunar shores follow right behind as we go.

hey, no one’s perfect,

not through creation or a magical connection.

One last look,

A desert of desolation fills your heart,

A picturesque in the glimmering television of your eye,

may it stay as such for only a lifetime,

until we meet again.

I really loved the imagery in this poem. Excellently done! Great title too. I love how nature can cause that kind of hypnosis with its beauty. It's also great that this poem could be about a relationship with a person as much as it could be a connection with nature.
