It was after four days passed. She was still on her own. She roamed the surroundings to get some food and water, and every day she went farther, just in case, she could meet some people there. It was hard to live like this. Every night she prayed that maybe just maybe this was a dream and in the morning some miracle would happen and everything would be fine. But in the morning she found that those hopes were just the mind playing tricks.

Until one morning.

It was a normal morning. Although she was awake, she kept her eyes closed, She could hear some noises in distance. Suddenly she felt a presence near her. She opened her eyes only to meet with blue ones. Those piercing blue ocean eyes were full of curiosity and somehow....worry? Then her eyes drifted to the face of the person. He had blonde hair, a sharp jawline. He had pale skin. She couldn't remember if she had ever seen him or not but she would not remember she knew that. He was a complete stranger. That's what was scaring her.

The person in front of her probably could sense her fear. he said," Hey, I'm not gonna hurt you." She didn't believe him so she squirmed away. She sat at a little distance hugging her knees to her chest. She couldn't believe that finally spending several days alone crying, running, and screaming, after all, someone decided to show up.

The person asked again, "Hey are you okay? What's wrong? I'm not gonna hurt you, you know that right?" Suddenly she felt angry. She tried to scream but her voice betrayed her at the last part.

"Seven days. SEVEN DAYS. I'm here all alone and can't remember a thing. No one was there I spent the nights alone I was scared and afraid. and after all those days YOU suddenly show up and ask me what's wrong?" He was shocked to see her outburst. And also he felt sympathy for her. He said, "I'm sorry but you know what in these woods generally people don't come here. That's why you haven't seen any people and as I am a forest officer for my job, I have to come here a lot as this part of this forest is only for the officers to visit and collect staffs. We came as a team the others are also here. But can I ask how did you get here?"

"I don't know and I don't remember anything."

"What do you mean by you don't remember anything?"

" I simply forgot everything. I don't have a clue about who am I and what am I doing here. I woke up one day and found myself here." At this time she felt a tear rolling down her cheeks, she quickly wiped it away but those didn't stop. ,

"Hey, don't cry, don't cry, please, I'm here now, I can help, Okay?" She just nodded.

There she was crying in front of a random stranger in hope of something new. Probably the stranger could help her. Probably she would remember everything. Probably she would meet her family.

Too many probably's. But one thing that made her feel like a light shining through the darkness was the idea of a loving and caring family. Her family.

But would the strangers accept her as a family?
