If I could return I will not stay to revel, but breathe this sky under which I was born to rejoice with sea views and gardens; to console someone with kindness; to drink this wine or this water that might reduce my illness.

What a bloody and spacious world
So many swords are everywhere,
In arms and in flesh! And if life
does not go out, indignation keeps it united to the chest.

I crave a lot, little hope
Hope for much, expect little so the story goes
A blow that does not go down to a single greasy nut,
But the pain of every wound is undivided.
And often one is wounded and the other languishes
Who sheds the soul that if this is the blood of those before me such a stain I carry with love.
