A poem based on the song "Strawberry Fields Forever" by The Beatles.

Let me take you dooown because I'm going to...

to...

to?

Where am I?

Where are the trees?

How did he float onto that branch in a single jump?

Why is it dark outside? The sun is right there.

Why is there red everywhere? Where is it coming from?

I hear trumpets, but where's heaven?

They're just... staring at me, why?

Hey- no! It does matter to me! Where am I? Who are you?

This- this can't be real, stop, please stop.

They want to take me down, but to where?

He's saying he sometimes thinks it's him, but why? What did he do?

Oh please tell me that's paint,

why was this place made? Why can't I see?

Whistles and flutes are playing somewhere out there,

where it's dark but you can feel their breath.

Someone help me,

help me, please, I'll lead the way,

let me take you down-
