Just a little pock of fun at madness, maybe the covid kind.

They took me to a place on Cheshire Lane

That is ever so right for the acute insane.

The houses are lined with a rubbery kind

Of walls so fashioned to alleviate pain.

Oh, Cheshire houses are no kind of tomb

You can run into walls, jump, and zoom.

You can rage all day and scream away

But safety is assured with the right kind of room.

Unfortunately windows are hard to find

Anything sharp and of the Shattering kind

But I am content, in my space of cement

Padded all around and rubbery lined.

There is always at least on place in each city, I think.

I think we could all do with rubber, soundproof room to retire to sometimes and let out all of our frustrations.
