SPRING

Spring – Week 7

It seems as though Spring is slow to start this year…I can certainly sense the sleeping flow of the times, but very little outward signs appear out of my single world window.  The family of rabbits still keep me company, at least, and it always brings a smile to my face to watch them frolicking.  Also, another sure sign of Spring is the incredible temperature spike, even with a day of snow early in the week.

Spring is a volatile time.

I’ve amassed quite a collection of written records as of late, reading bits and pieces here and there of something called non-fiction, which is apparently about things that existed at some point in time.  My realization of this comes from my discovery of a written record titled Remarkable Books by one Katherine Hennessy which discusses other written records I personally found.  My regular reading of fiction books has also been enriched through the discovery of Manga, unique books that actually tell the story visually, and I am hooked.  The first Manga I’ve read is titled Battle Angel Alita and was a deluxe edition but I could only find volume 1 for now.  This artist is known as Yukito Kishiro and I look forward to reading more of this series.

I have also watched a visual record called Bad Times at the El Royal which was an amazing experience and hope to hunt down more remarkable experiences similar to it.

Well, another week down, and I look forward to what lays ahead.
