Last poem of my series of three. Not the happiest topic but hey I had to work with it.

"And perhaps it is the greater grief to be left on earth when another is gone"

May it be for another day or another night,
Another instance of living in fright,
When all is left is an empty space
Metaphorical warmth of a body without a face.
Wait another month, reopen the case
And contemplate the aimless chase
Of a lost soul.

Watch until the end and the post credit,
See where you will land: lyrical edit.

And don't fret,
Don't leave before the sunset
For the stars won't tell a lie
But rather the tale of the blue sky,
How it saw, how it lived, how it grieved,
How it cried its thousands tears.
For grief might be a thief, but do not fear in disbelief:
Life is based on pain, of that I am certain.
Next time you flip a rhyme and see the sky,
Remember that a greater sorrow will lead to a better tomorrow.
