Born in a stronghold of broken souls.
Life given where love should prevail.
A struggle waiting to commence.

Fighting alone, growing up.
Buying friendship, love and hope,
That, what has not been given to me.

Never ending questions asked.
‘Why was I not good enough?’
‘How do I deserve your love?’

Crawling out of this dark hole.
Finding warmth in loving arms,
Tears for the past, hope for the future.

Lack of joy and goodwill I got.
The more I will hand on.
My child, my love, my future,
I am proud to be your father.
