During the time of the pandemic we need even more kindness and understanding.

What Time Is It?

Life happens, you move forward with decisions you’ve made

Leaving behind experiences in lieu of memories that never fade

We are molded by the environment in which we live

That’s where we learn whether we take more than give

Nature or nurture, I’m not sure which one got the part

Their role will define the sympathy and empathy of the heart

We need to heed this more now than ever before

Instead we stand, closed hand, ready to fight, while I write

I write to keep my heart open, hoping for positive change

Unemployment on the rise, Covid demise, times are strange

We need kindness to remind us of the importance of love

Whether you believe in karma, spirituality or the man up above

Hate we can not tolerate, we must conquer ignorance with love
